For a seamless travel experience, we want to make sure that you’re aware of the new REAL ID requirements from the federal government, which will go into effect starting October 1, 2020.
A quick overview:
When flying out of a US airport, all travelers who are 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant license, or other acceptable form of ID such as a US passport.
The REAL ID Act establishes minimum security standards for license issuance and production and prohibits Federal agencies from accepting for certain purposes driver’s licenses and identification cards from states not meeting the Act’s minimum standards.
